Special People

In every organization there are those individuals who can be counted upon, the people who always do more than they are asked to do, the ones who never consider failure and whose membership in an organization makes the job of leadership so personally rewarding.

During the early formative months of our TelCo Retirees Association, the need for start-up funds became critical. When the need became known, a number of retired friends and associates immediately offered assistance and within a week or two our fiscal crisis was resolved.

Because of their willingness to step forward at a critical moment in our organizational planning, I’d like to share their names with you:

In addition, the Board would like to acknowledge and thank three very special members. They are:

S K Emery

Chuck Muller

Mr. Emery is our founder and immediate past President. His vision and leadership built the TelCo Retiree Association, Inc., into the organization it is today.

Ms. Muriel Wick is our first and only Secretary of the association until stepping down due to health reasons. According to everyone who worked with her, she was a delight to deal with and a great team player.

Mr. Muller is an original Board member and a cornerstone of our organization. Chuck was a key player in the growth of our association.

The TelCo Retirees Association, Inc., wishes to acknowledge and thank all the special members for their support, at a critical time, and their dedication to the success of our association.
