Fellow Retiree (s):

We have established a firm communications link with John Hull, SBC’s Vice President for SD/Orange/Riverside. John is a long time telephone employee with a real concern over the very inadequate communications between the Company and its retirees. He is genuinely interested in doing what he can to improve matters. In recent discussions with him, he asked if we could help him get “a handle” on what your interests about the Company are as retirees, thus, this mini-questionnaire. Would you please take a few moments and give them your input.

Thanks.

1. What specific area(s) about Company operations would you like to know more about and/or be updated on? Why?

2. What specific areas involving Company policy would you like to know more about and./or be updated on?

3. What areas or things about your relationship with SBC bother you the most? What do you like the most?

4. Would you be willing to write, email, FAX or in other ways communicate to your elected representatives (both political and civic) on behalf of SBC on matters which could affect the Company’s financial or competitive well-being?

5. Would you be amenable to getting an occasional informal note from John Hull via the Life Member or TRA newsletter, the TRA website or some other mechanism, covering items like the above? If so, may we please have your name and address and/or your email address?

Other ideas, subjects of interest or comments: Please use the reverse side or additional sheets of paper if needed.

WE REALLY DO WANT TO KNOW WHAT YOUR THOUGHTS ARE ON THESE QUESTIONS.
