been happening to the TelCo Retirees Association, Inc. during
the past weeks and you need to be updated on a number
of issues.

that our Website is up and running and we have placed
many items of importance to our membership on the site. (We suggest
that members with Internet access frequently visit our Website

General
Membership Meetings
Because we have
received member requests for a future meeting in the greater Los
Angeles area as well as correspondence from Nevada retirees requesting
a future meeting in Reno, NV, we will consider these sites for
future quarterly meetings.
Since we are required
by law to hold an Annual Membership Meeting and since the majority
of our Officers and Directors either live within the greater San
Diego area or in southern California, we plan to schedule our
Annual Membership Meeting in San Diego, California during the
month of February. All members are invited to attend the Annual
meeting as well as the scheduled Quarterly meetings.
Telephone
Concession Service
This issue
continues to receive considerable attention. We will include correspondence
received from our members in the filing. More on this issue will
be found on the "Concessions" heading on the Website.
We have
also added another heading to our Website, "NRLN" (National
Retiree Legislative Network) to keep members updated on national
issues impacting all retirees.
