Update on TelCo General Meeting February 13, 2013
The date is fast approaching. Please RSVP or send your regrets to me at ron.young@cox.net. If you have already done so, no need to do it again.
Your Board is trying their very best to make sure you are getting the most out of your membership. You can do your part by attending, if possible- especially if you live in Southern California.
After polling members, the meeting site selected was the LA Airport area.
The meeting will be held at the Los Angeles Airport Marriott Hotel. It is located at 5855 W. Century Blvd., Los Angeles, 90045.
The meeting will start at 10:00 AM sharp. There will be a continental breakfast available starting at 8:30 AM. The meeting is scheduled to run for two hours.
Only about half of the members receiving these email blasts have opened their emails. So, tell your friends!
Everyday, it seems, there are articles about threats to our retirement income and related issues. We have a strong organization and are part of a larger national organization (National Retiree Legislative Network), all designed to protect your interests.
However, you need to be informed and provide feedback when possible. What better opportunity than the annual General Meeting?
We are looking for upwards of one hundred members to attend this year’s meeting. So far, the committed attendance looks similar to last year’s meeting in San Diego.
